Yolanda Calzado Gil

Yolanda has extensive experience working with children and young people within educational institutions since 2007 and has provided Dramatherapy and Counselling in schools to children and adolescents with a variety of psychological and social complexes since 2018. Yolanda has also worked with adults with drug and substance difficulties and co-facilitated an Intergenerational Drama and Movement Therapy Project. She has collaborated with the Open University of H.K. ‘LiPACE' delivering Dramatherapy workshops, and is a Placement Supervisor and Placement Manager at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama supporting and supervising Dramatherapy Trainees. Additionally, Yolanda has published a research poster at the British Association of Dramatherapists Conference 2020 and delivered a presentation about therapeutic change in Dramatherapy at the Theatre & Health Lab Colloquium 2021 – New York University. She is passionate about her work and she takes an integrative approach in her practice, using different psychotherapeutic tools to reach her clients’ needs best.
